Eqqualberry Stand at World of W | Case Study

In January 2026, NEXT Printing worked with Korean agency Widus to deliver a sustainable exhibition stand for skincare brand Eqqualberry @ World of W – a global beauty experience that transformed the ICC into a high energy playground for over three days. On the ground in Sydney, NEXT also collaborated with Usual Suspects, who supported Widus with local logistics and planning.

NEXT designed, produced, and installed a detailed 6m x 3m stand that needed to look polished whilst standing up to a busy show environment. The stand featured integrated shelving, cupboard doors, benchtops, recessed product displays, and concealed storage. These build-features not only allowed products to remain accessible, but kept them well presented throughout the three-day event.

Installation took place alongside many other exhibitors which created a busy and tightly shared workspace. Regardless, the NEXT team worked within the limited floor space and negotiated access with other contractors during the build to keep the installation moving smoothly and avoid disruption.

Sustainability also played a role in shaping the brief. With the client planning to dispose of the walling after the event, material choice and end-of-life considerations formed part of the decision-making process.

The project called for a structure that felt solid, looked refined, and could handle high levels of product interaction. NEXT Printing built the main structure using 16mm Re-board®, choosing it for its strength, versatility, and ability to support detailed joinery such as shelving, cupboards, and recessed display areas.

Re-board® (as an engineered paperboard) also offered the added benefit of being a more sustainable alternative.

To add visual impact, the team used a combination of 5mm, 10mm and 20mm Foamboard for bright, eye-catching 3D detailing. These pops of colour simultaneously creating both contrast and depth across the stand. The installers applied High Tac self-adhesive vinyl to edge benchtops, delivering clean finishes in key touchpoints and helping the stand maintain a polished appearance throughout the event.

NEXT also integrated practical elements to support visitor engagement. LED arm lighting highlighted products and improved visibility, while shopping baskets encouraged browsing and hands-on interaction.

Together, these choices produced a stand that felt functional, visually strong, and well suited to a busy exhibition environment.

The Eqqualberry stand evolved through several rounds of design development, with artwork and layouts continuing to change through the final stages of production. NEXT Printing worked directly with Widus in Korea on design coordination and approvals, while liaising with Usual Suspects locally to support logistics and planning in Sydney.

To keep everyone aligned, the team produced a series of 3D renders that clearly showed how the stand would be built and finished. This approach both helped streamline approvals and allowed updates to be reviewed and signed off efficiently as the design developed.

At ICC Sydney, installation took place alongside numerous other exhibitors. The NEXT installation team negotiated access, sequencing, and working space with multiple crews, adapting on site to assemble the stand smoothly within the constraints of a crowded bump-in period.

After the event, bump-out took place, with Re-board® elements removed for recycling and non-paper-based items disposed of as required.

We swapped out MDF for sustainable Re-board® made from engineered paperboard. By choosing Re-board® over MDF, Eqqualberry reduced their carbon footprint by an impressive 515kg. This is equivalent to eliminating almost 11 days of carbon emissions for the average Australian household or equivalent to a car travelling over 2,000 km in Australia.

Across the three-day ‘World of W’ event, the Eqqualberry stand attracted consistent interest. Long queues and strong engagement from consumers, influencers, and content creators, leading to significant social media and TikTok exposure.

If attendance and interaction are a measure of success, this stand delivered, reinforcing Eqqualberry’s visibility and engagement throughout the event.
